Dr Bugs Popcorn is made right here in Ōtautahi Christchurch and has been owned by our family (the Posthumas) since 1999. Raymond (Dad) handles the business, engineering and the day-to-day operations Monique (Mum) handles the Health and Safety, the Food Safety, and new product development (she's a trained food scientist) We’ve set out to change the perception of popcorn as being a ‘beige’ kids snack, although we’ve still got some of the classics we know you love. Using our experiences and memories of growing up in New Zealand we’ve now released over 20 limited-edition flavours. We take pride in using New Zealand grown, non-GE corn to create delicious popcorn for you to enjoy. We love to hear new flavour suggestions, let us know what you’d like to see recreated into a popcorn treat. |
